If a guardian ever needs to stock up on exotic armor in Destiny 2, Legend and Master Lost Sectors are the ticket. And among the many lost sectors that rotate daily, Perdition on Europa has managed to stay on top as one of the fastest farms year after year. Even here in 2026, this short Vex hideout delivers quick completions and solid Platinum rewards. Let’s break down how to clear it with ease, what loadouts work best, and how to deal with its troublemakers.

Modifiers and Loadout Recommendations

Every season brings a fresh set of modifiers to Lost Sectors. In Perdition, you’ll almost always face Overload and Barrier Champions, because the Vex Minotaurs and Hobgoblins fit those roles perfectly. The daily threat element and surges will change, so always check the director beforehand. One reliable approach is to match your weapons to the active surge, which can turn even a decent legendary into a killing machine.

For subclasses, the Prismatic options introduced in The Final Shape remain fantastic. A Prismatic Titan can combine an Arc super with a void overshield and a solar restoration fragment, giving both offence and survivability. Hunters love Prismatic with the threaded specter and stylish executioner for constant invisibility and decoys. Warlocks can lean into well of radiance or a void soul for weaken. Don’t sleep on Stasis either – freezing a Wyvern mid-lunge is deeply satisfying.

Weapons are key. You’ll need one anti-barrier gun and one anti-overload weapon. Many guardians swear by Lament – its revved heavy attack cuts right through Barrier Champion shields and the boss’s tough hide, plus it heals you on hit. Pair it with a scout rifle or pulse rifle that has anti‑barrier rounds from the artifact. For Overload, an auto rifle or SMG with overload mod works nicely, but explosive payload on a scout can stun Minotaurs in just a couple shots. A grenade launcher with disorienting grenades can also give you breathing room. If you prefer long‑range safety, Wish‑Ender still one‑taps barriers and deals massive damage to red bars.

Perdition Walkthrough

The Entrance

Drop down the icy shaft and immediately take out the Harpy on your right. Two more Harpies will scurry toward a stationary Hydra. Rush in and freeze the Hydra, or use your heavy weapon to delete it before it teleports. If it gets away, don’t worry – it’ll show up later. Move forward until an Overload Minotaur appears with a couple of Hobgoblins and a cloud of Harpies. The Minotaur is aggressive and will chase you, so backpedal toward the entrance to separate it from snipers. Stun it with overload rounds and unload everything you’ve got. Clear the remaining red bars and climb the stairs.

The Wyvern Room

The moment you reach the top of the stairs, you’ll see an Overload Minotaur around the corner. Fire a shot to lure it down – it will teleport right to you on the staircase, where you can stun and destroy it safely. Then push up to deal with the Goblins. If the Hydra from earlier escaped, it’ll now be hovering at the far end. This is a great spot to peek‑shoot from cover. Once you’re ready, walk toward the center of the room. That’s the trigger for two Barrier Hobgoblins and, if you step near the middle platform, two Wyverns. Don’t panic – immediately retreat to the lower stairs. Use your super or a strong heavy weapon to burst down the Wyverns before they can dive on you. With them gone, focus on the Barrier Hobgoblins. Split them up by freezing one or breaking line of sight. When both are eliminated, the way to the boss opens.

The Boss Arena

A massive Minotaur boss spawns alongside Harpies and Goblins. Kill the adds first to avoid being chipped to death. The boss doesn’t have a shield, so any heavy ammo you’ve saved can be dumped into its glowing core. Lament’s combo is so fast that often the boss melts before it can teleport. After the boss falls, don’t open the chest yet! Two Barrier Hobgoblins will spawn on opposite sides, accompanied by more fodder. Use cover near the chest alcove and pick them off one by one. Once the final Champion drops, the Platinum rewards are yours.

Final Tips

  • Wait for an easy daily modifier – Stasis singe combined with a solar threat? Easy day.

  • Bring ammo finders and scavengers – Running out of heavy on the boss feels terrible.

  • Learn the spawn triggers – Knowing when Wyverns and Champions appear turns a chaotic fight into a dance.

  • Don’t skip Champions – Platinum guarantees an exotic drop chance; gold doesn’t.

Perdition remains a guardian favorite because it’s straightforward and fast. With the right loadout, you’ll be rotating through it in under four minutes, collecting exotics by the dozen. Good luck out there!
